Emmaus Road
They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and open the Scriptures to us?"
- Luke 24:32 (NIV)

What Happens at a Walk to Emmaus?

The Walk to Emmaus is a 72-hour experience; it begins on a Thursday evening and ends early Sunday evening.  You will live and study with fellow Christians from all walks of life, persons who are at various points in their walk with Christ.  You will have the time to examine where you are personally in your own walk with Christ.  You will listen to and discuss the fifteen lay and clergy talks.  There is singing, chapel time, and the sharing of communion.  You will laugh, you may cry, and you will return home having experienced the love of Christ at a level you may never have previously experienced.
